Buying at Kinghams

Our specialist sales catalogues are available online approximately two weeks before the sale.

Viewing

Viewing is at our auction room at 10-12 Cotswold Business Village, London Road in Moreton-in-Marsh (GL56 0JQ). Details can be found in our sales catalogue. Please call +44(0)1608 695695 to arrange or email enquiries@kinghamsauctioneers.com.

Condition Reports

The relevant specialist sales department will be pleased to give condition reports on any lot by email. Individual condition reports are not published in our catalogues or on bidding platforms. Buyers are given ample opportunity to view lots before any sale. When bidding, buyers acknowledge that they are fully satisfied as to the description and condition of the lot.  All weights and measures given in the catalogue should be regarded as approximate. Although we will endeavour to answer all condition reports, any requests within 24 hours of the auction starting cannot be guaranteed a response. Note condition reports are not given for the Cotswold interior & collectables sales but we will provide further information on request if possible.

The absence of a condition report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition. Condition reports are provided as a goodwill gesture and are not a statement of fact but are the opinion of our specialists. Condition reports are prepared with the naked eye unless otherwise stated. Many items are of an age or nature which precludes their being in perfect condition, general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. We strongly advise you to examine items in person before you bid.

*The availability of condition reports does not extend to the Cotswold Interiors & Collectables sale. Any reference to condition is entirely the opinion of the specialist and provided at their discretion. All items are sold as seen and the buyer must satisfy themselves as to the condition.
