Our specialist sales catalogues are available online approximately two weeks before the sale.
Viewing is at our auction room at 10-12 Cotswold Business Village, London Road in Moreton-in-Marsh (GL56 0JQ). Details can be found in our sales catalogue. Please call +44(0)1608 695695 to arrange or email email@example.com. Masks are mandatory unless you have a medical exemption.
The relevant specialist sales department will be pleased to give condition reports on any lot by email. Individual condition reports are not published in our catalogues or on bidding platforms. Buyers are given ample opportunity to view lots before any sale. When bidding, buyers acknowledge that they are fully satisfied as to the description and condition of the lot. All weights and measures given in the catalogue should be regarded as approximate. Although we will endeavour to answer all condition reports, any requests within 24 hours of the auction starting cannot be guaranteed a response. Note condition reports are not given for interior sales but we will provide further information on request if possible.

Bidding in the Auction House
You need to register with us before bidding in the auction house. A paddle number can be obtained by registering as described above.
If you are unable to attend the sale you can leave a commission bid. This will be executed on your behalf by the auctioneer who will purchase the lot as cheaply as possible, bearing in mind any reserve price and other bids. Bids must be made at least one hour before the sale starts, but we advise buyers to make bids at the earliest possible opportunity.
If you already have a paddle number and have also registered with our website, the site offers you the facility to place Commission Bids online. If you have not bid with us before, you will be contacted for ID as above. If this information is not received your bids will not be taken. We do suggest telephoning the office prior to the sale to confirm that your bids have been received.
It is usually possible to bid on the telephone by prior arrangement with the office. Registration is required as above.

Artist's Resale Right/Droit De Suite
Lots marked with a (†) symbol are potentially subject to a levy.
Droit de Suite is a royalty payable to a qualifying artist or the artist's heirs each time a work is resold during the artist's lifetime and up to a period of 70 years after the artist's death.
Royalties are calculated on a sliding percentage scale based on the hammer price excluding the buyer's premium. The royalty does not apply to lots selling below the sterling equivalent of €1,000 and the maximum royalty payable on any single lot is the sterling equivalent of €12,500.
Droit de Suite, which is not subject to VAT, will be added to the buyer's purchase price and then passed on to the relevant collecting agency.
Please enquire for the accepted exchange rate on the day of the sale.
Royalties for Droit de Suite are as follows:
4% Up to €50,000
3% €50,000.01 - 200,000
1% €200,000.01 - 350,000
0.5% €350,000.01 - 500,000
0.25% In excess of €500,000
Up to a maximum levy of €12,500
Lots marked with a Ƒ symbol are subject to the UK firearms/shotgun licencing regime, and may only be viewed and/or purchased by individuals with appropriate licences. Such lots are offered on an auctioneers' permit, and must be collected prior to the expiry thereof.
