Provenance: Please note that the provenance for this set of chairs is by repute: The Gent family at Moyns Park, Essex The set of chairs are thought to have passed from a the Gent family to Victor Engleheart (b. 1868) who was godson to a Miss Gent. The previous owner is a direct descendant of John Cox Dillman Engleheart (1784-1862) miniaturist, nephew and pupil of George Engleheart (b. 1750) miniaturist to George III.
